At Udzungwa mountain forest national park you will be enjoying natural water falls, watching red colobus and rare flora and fauna found only in the area. Itinerary
Day 1: Dar es salaam to Selous game reserve. Morning after breakfast, drive to Selous Game Reserve with packed lunch that you will have it on the way, arrive in the Reserve in the afternoon, then embark on boat safari on Rufiji River, where you will admire Hippos and Crocodiles in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight will be at Selous Hippo Camp.
Day 2: Full day Game drives in Selous game reserve. Morning after breakfast, full day game drives in Selous game Reserve with picnic lunch. Mind you that Selous G.R is larger than Switzerland and Denmark, that reserves largest population of elephant in Tanzania as well as large number of buffalo, Hippo and Wild dog, others are Lion, Eland,bushbuck, giraffe, impala, baboon, zebra, Crocodile, greater kudu and is the chance to see the rare Sable antelope. Meals and overnight will be at Selous Hippo Camp.
Day 3: Selous Morning to Mikumi Nationla Park. Early morning after breakfast depart to Mikumi Park via Morogoro over the Uluguru Mountains across rivers and past small local villages and farms; the journey will take 9 hours due to road condition. Game drive en route for dinner and overnight at Mikumi public Campsite inside the Park./Half way House
Day 4:Full Day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Leave the Camp for early morning game drive in the park this is your chance to see Elephant, Lion, Wild dog,Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park ,then drive back for lunch and rest at the camp. After lunch then leave again for evening game drive until sunset.Dinner and overnight at Public Camp/Halfway house Mikumi.
Day 5: Mikumi National Park to Ruaha National Park. After breakfast check out and launch the journey to Ruaha with lunch at Iringa Town, continue to National Park where you will arrive in the fternoon. Evening short game drives in the park or relaxation at leisure at the Public Camp/Ruaha Bandas.
Day 6: Full day Game drive in Ruaha National Park. Morning after breakfast, a full day game drives in Ruaha National Park, look for Roan and Sable antelope, Hippo Crocodile, waterbuck, Reedbuck and Buffalo venture to the rivers edge to drink, attracting the attention of Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Wild dog and jackal and many more antelopes include Dik dik. There are many birds in the park include Eurasia migrants that Comes to visit the park twice a year. Dinner and overnight will be at the Public Camp/Ruaha Banda
Day 7: Ruaha National Park to Udzungwa Mountain National Park. Early morning after breakfast, game drive en route to Udzungwa Mountains National Park with via at Ismila Stone Age Museum where you will visit the site then proceed with drive to Udzungwa for dinner and overnight at the Mountain View Camp site.
Day 8: Walking in Udzungwa national park and back to Dar es salaam. Breakfast in your Camp then another launch a walking in this beautiful Park enjoying and experience the stunning natural beauty of the park. Swimming at the Sanje waterfalls then after lunch walk down to the village ready for transfer back to Dar es salaam where you will arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at the hotel of your choice.
